Holistic / Swedish Massage

Holistic and Swedish are virtually the same type of massage and involve the therapeutic application of touch in a supportive, relaxing manner that encourages the mind to slow down whilst the body relaxes. Alleviating physical stress, anxiety and emotional strain will leave you with more energy.

'Holistic' is defined as the "treatment of the whole person, taking into account psychological and social factors, rather than just biologically experienced symptoms"

So Holistic Massage treats the whole person, rebalancing body and mind.

Tight muscles relax, circulation improves, waste products and toxins are removed, sleep quality and mood improve and aids concentration.

Relaxing Massage

Relaxing Massage is very similar to Holistic Massage with more focus on the therapeutic application of touch in a relaxing manner to encourage the mind to slow down and unwind, whilst the body relaxes.

Alleviating physical stress and emotional anxiety and strain which will leave you feeling refreshed and relaxed. Regular treatment will multiply these benefits exponentially.

Deep Tissue Massage

The Main difference between Sports Massage and Deep Tissue is that Sports Massage will focus on rehabilitating a specific injury with treatment focused in a concentrated area. If you're suffering from general muscular tension then Deep Tissue Massage is for you.

Deep Tissue is a set of stronger massage techniques used to treat general tension in the body. During a Deep Tissue massage, the pressure is stronger and the pace is slower.

This technique helps alleviate stiffness and muscle soreness, can help improve movement.

Sports Massage

If you have a specific problem area, then Sports Massage is the treatment for you.

Sports Massage is a set of specialist massage techniques used to treat specific areas of the body for everything from mild stains to chronic injury.

During Sports Massage, the pressure may be stronger and the pace is often slower. The different layers of tissue are realigned by treating the muscles as well as tendons, ligaments and fascia.

Your therapist will also employ a far greater range of techniques to elicit a range of benefits including:

  • release of pain
  • reduction of muscle tension
  • improve ROM (Range Of Movement)
  • increase speed of recovery
  • improved posture

CBD Oil Massage

The CBD Oil Massage is a perfect treatment for releasing tension, alleviating aches and soreness, working out knots and aiding muscle recovery. It can be done as a relaxing massage or a stronger deep tissue treatment.

CBD (cannabidiol) is one of over 100 plant compounds called cannabinoids that come from cannabis. THC (the psychoactive ingredient of Cannabis) content does not exceed the legal limit of 0.2% in the products we use. This is done by only extracting CBD oil from cannabis plants naturally low in THC.

What Is Topical CBD Good For?

Surveys report the most common uses of topical CBD application was for:

pain, joint pain, arthritis, psoriasis, dermatitis and muscle pain

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a massage technique, which focuses on stimulating the movement of lymph through the body’s Lymphatic System. It works only 1mm (yes 1 millimetre) into the body, and so is very gentle.

The Lymphatic System is at its most basic, the body's supplementary system for draining toxins from the muscular skeletal system. MLD helps to facilitate this process.

The lymphatic system is considered a sub-system of the circulatory system. The lymphatic system has no ‘pump’ or means of moving lymph along its various channels.
